Laying the Alu composite pipes

2. The pipes can be bent with the help of a spiral spring which is applied over the pipe, e.g., across room corners. The bending aid can then be removed!

3. Now connect the pipe to the wall mounted socket. Use the special pair of scissors to do this, do not use a saw! For instance, the 16 mm Alu composite pipe is to be cut to length here.

4. Each interface must be calibrated. This is done with the calibration tool. Insert its pin into the pipe up to the stop and turn several times.

5. Now push the lower part of the wall socket, the cap nut and the clamping ring of the Euro adapter over the pipe. Finally, place the so-called supporting unit.

6. Now place the brass angle (with plug as lever). While tightening the cap nut, the clamping ring is compressed such that a tight connection is created.

7. Install the brass angle and the lower part of the wall socket in the support on the framework and join the two together.

8. Unwind the press-on plug (white) for this purpose.

9. From the wall socket, we proceed downwards to the cross-line. A T-fitting is needed here for the connection. Copy the exact length!

10. You can also cut off the already laid pipe cleanly with the pair of special scissors. The sections are always rectangular!

11. Before fixing the pipes with the T-piece, cover them with a protective pipe to prevent heat loss and condensate build-up.

12. This is what the connection looks like. The supporting units are plugged at the pipe ends; the other parts (compare Figure 5) were threaded to the pipe earlier.

13. Hold the T-piece in place with a pair of pipe forceps tighten the cap nut and establish a secure connection through clamping.

14. Before allowing water into the pipe network, seal the open connection points with press-on plugs. The bathtub fitting will be placed here later.

15. The intermediate spaces are filled with damping material before panelling the wall with Gypsum plaster boards.

16. There is a sleeve with 1/2” inner threads in the existing wall. The 1/2" outer threads of the coupling are sealed with Teflon tape.

17. Keep the pipe you want to bend slightly longer and slip the spiral spring over the pipe. The pipe is bent at a narrow angle. The spiral spring is then removed from the pipe.

18. The Alu composite pipe must be calibrated after being cut at right angles with a pair of special scissors for plastic pipes. To do this, insert the calibrating plug into the pipe up to the stop and rotate it several times.

19. The fitting is tightened manually with the help of a pair of pipe forceps and an open box wrench.

20. We recommend the use of a protective pipe for protection against heat loss and condensed water build-up. The sewage pipe is extended with an HT-pipe DN 50, the lateral displacement is compensated with 2 bends.
