Take stretch into account

Lip seals
can stretch >1 cm

Slide pipe in totally and mark position

Pull pipe out at least 1 cm

Use a cutter to trim the pipe to the exact length

Fitting the collars
  • try to fit the collars underneath the hubs
  • interval between collars: max. 2m for drop pipes
  • interval between collars: for horizontally fitted pipes, a max. of 10 x diameter of pipe
