25 years’ guarantee for the Marley StecMa drinking water system

Marley Deutschland GmbH provides a 25-year guarantee on designated products of the StecMa drinking water system. The guarantee services are based on the following conditions:

1. The StecMa drinking water system of Marley Deutschland GmbH is manufactured with raw materials as per methods based on the latest technology, and it is subjected to stringent quality checks. All materials that come in contact with the drinking water system are hygienically harmless and conform to the Foodstuffs and Consumer Goods Law; they are recommended as per KTW (plastic and drinking water). We therefore guarantee that the purchased StecMa drinking water system will remain sealed and functional for a minimum of 25 years.
2. The present guarantee is valid only for newly manufactured StecMa drinking water systems that were purchased from Marley Deutschland GmbH or from an authorized dealer, and that are used properly according to the manufacturer’s instructions under conditions of normal use in residential areas. The guarantee presupposes proper installation and regular maintenance according to the latest technology, giving due consideration to the applicable standards and specifications (e.g., DIN 1988) as well as the installation instructions that can be taken from the catalogue of the StecMa drinking water system. Arbitrary alterations, technical changes, previous dismantling or application of paint, varnish and the like will make the guarantee offer null and void.
3. The guarantee covers all defects that can be proven to be attributable to a material or production fault. Defects will be rectified by Marley Deutschland GmbH free of cost at its discretion through repair or replacement. The replacement will be limited to a product of similar make, or a product of similar price.
4. The legal guarantee rights will remain unaffected by this. To the extent that the guarantee offered by Marley Deutschland GmbH goes beyond the legal guarantee rights, the guarantee will not cover legal guarantee claims, especially the obligation of paying compensation claims or the acceptance of the required transport, road and working costs etc.
5. The guarantee period is 25 years from the date of purchase. Guarantee services will be provided only if the original invoice or receipt (specifying the purchase date and the name of the dealer) along with the defective product is presented. A complaint must be filed on the detected defects immediately with Marley Deutschland GmbH, Adolf-Oesterheld-Straße 28, 31515 Wunstorf. Marley Deutschland GmbH reserves the right to get an on-site expert opinion on the defect by a Marley employee or by an independent expert.
